𝗛𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗸𝗶 𝗬𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗮 began to study piano at the age of three with her mother. She continued her studies with Mioko Kato and Vadim Sakharov, Prof.Kumi Uchimoto at the Aichi University of the Arts, Prof.Anna Vinnitskaya at the Hochshule für Musik und Theater Hamburg as an exchange student, and completed her master’s diploma in 2022 with highest mark under Prof.Sergei Edelmann at the Royal conservatoire Antwerp. Currently she continues her studies at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp in the post-graduate concert soloist programme. She takes public lessons from Kevin Kenner, Steven Osborn, Gerald Fauth,Felix Gottlieb,EIena Margolina-Hait and Sontraud Speidel,among others.
She has given recitals and performed chamber music and accompaniment in Japan, Germany, Belgium and Austria.She won the 1st prize at the Shiga Prefecture Piano Competition, the 1st Preis at the Elena Richter international Piano Competition and so on. In 2019, she received the Shiga Cultural Arts Festival Encouragement Award by her recital. She received scholarships of Kanematsu Nobuko Foundation and Inspiratum Foundation.
𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗚𝘂
Born on 30 November 1997 in Shanghai, Julia grew up in Sydney, Australia and studied piano with Natalia Sheludiakova since 2006. She participated in the Sydney Conservatorium Open Academy and Rising Stars Program with scholarships, and graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium High school with honours. She completed her Bachelor studies at the Hamburg Hochschule für Musik und Theater with Ralf Nattkemper and continued her Master studies with Sergei Edelmann at the Royal Conservatory Antwerp.
Julia has performed extensively around Sydney in eisteddfods, festivals and concerts, including performances at the City Angel Place and the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall. She has broadcasted with the 2MBS Fine Music Sydney, both as a solo and chamber musician.
She made her orchestral debut with the Conservatorium High school orchestra as the winner of the Concerto Competition. In 2016, she performed Chopin’s piano concerto no. 2 with Maestro Paul Terracini and the Penrith Symphony Orchestra.
She is a passionate chamber musician and collaborative pianist. Julia studied chamber music with artists Alice Waten, Kathryn Selby and Niklas Schmidt. She won the 2012 Sydney Eisteddfod Musica Viva chamber music award with her trio and performed as part of Menuhin Live Music Now in Hamburg.
She received piano masterclasses from artists such as Dmitri Alexeev, Dmitri Bashkirov, Idil Biret, Robert Blocker, Ingrid Fliter, Peter Frankl, Alexander Ghindin, Richard Goode, Grigory Gruzman and Alexei Lubimov, among others.
In 2013, she was a semi finalist at the Korea International competition for Young Artists and in 2020, she placed third at the AntwerPiano International competition.
