Bio

Samuele Tacchini starts to study piano at the “Arte Nuova” Music School in Belluno (IT), under the guide of M° Maria Canton. He starts The Academic path in Conservatory “Agostino Steffani” in Castelfranco Veneto, attending the preacademic courses, entering then in the piano class of M° Giovanni Umberto Battel. He graduated in piano performance with full marks and honors.

He is now currently studying piano with Eliane Rodrigues at the “Koninklijk Conservatorium of Antwerpen”.

He attends several courses and masterclasses with artists such as Filippo Gamba and Marco Ciampi, and he regularly follows the summer courses of M° Giovanni Umberto Battel.

He took also lessons from Pavel Kolesnikov, Sergei Edelmann, Markyian Popil as well as a masterclass in chamber music with Diana Kettler.

Starting from 2020, he starts to participate in competitions.

He obtains awards and good placings in several piano competitions like in the “San Donà International Piano Competition”, in the “Gloria Artis Music Competition” in Vienna, In the “Ischia Piano Compeition” (online edition). He was between the 6 finalists of the second edition of the “Artepiano piano competition” in Rome.

He took part in several music festivals and events, also deepening the contemporary music field playing in some events of the “Necst Ensemble”, musical collective of contemporary music of Steffani’s Conservatory.

He has performed during the “Opus74” concert season in Flaine (FR) at the Auditorium “Eric et Sylvie Boissonnas”; in the “Giovani Concertisti” concert festival in Treviso (IT); during the concert season “Concerti d’autunno” in Preganziol (IT); for the festival “Summertime” in Castelfranco Veneto, and at the “Love2Arts” gallery in Belgium. He played in several events organized by the “Conservatorio A. Steffani”, In the “Warmste Week” concert series organized for crowdfunding money against child poverty in Antwerp in a piano duo formation with Li ZIhao, in several events and project organized and managed by the Conservatory of Antwerp. He will perform as young artist at the “KlaraBox” in Brussel, side event for the Klarafestival.

He is currently working in collaborations with the composer Theo Koita, for whom has already recorded some compositions (Piano Sonorities and Drame Bathypelagique) and he is involved in the Maisha Project, a crossover musical project.

He taught piano at the Musical Association “Musica d’Arte” in Preganziol (IT) and in the “Francesco Sandi” Music school of Feltre (IT) for the academic year.
